I am always rather impressed by the way the financial press in most nations are brazenly open about their reactionary politics. Noam Chomsky does a great service by pointing them out in his works.

We should really start a sticky that analyzes not only the business press but just about anything that shows the class consciousness of the upper classes. It would be about using their own words against them and would teach new leftists just how openly class politics is in the press and how class is more evident to them they ever would've thought.

Indeed. That has always been one of my favorite Chomskyisms. The serious business press can oftentimes do a more informed class analysis than a lot of marxists!

Not a bad idea. I've been thinking about checking out the Wall St. Times now and again with precisely that purpose in mind.
