Sarah Palin says she believe a war with Russia is possible to "protect" Georgia.
Follow scenario:
McChain becomes the next president. Palin Vice-President. McCain died by a heart attack and Palin becomes the "leader of the free world".

Sarah Palin couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, let alone aggravate anyone to declare war on her stupidity.

Plus, McCain lost, and will probably(hopefully) be dead by the next election.

Palin getting any influential seat would be both a horror and tragedy in itself.

Sarah Palin "could" start a war with Russia, but the same level of reasonability goes into starting a War with China over Taiwan. Obviously stupid, and Sarah is a firebrand that speaks to a demographic with enlarged patriotism glands; You want to appear ready to fight, even if the fight is something you should walk away from. She wouldn't be stupid enough to do it since it's still political suicide, and would alienate much of the international community.

Personally I'm surprised Sarah Palin knows a Georgia exists besides the one to the north of Florida.

No. I don't think anything about Sarah Palin other than how absurd it is that people seem to be so fascinated by her.

Not Really...

She may start some kind of diplomatic crisis, but nothing more.

When you say a 'war with Russia' do you mean arranging cooperative training between military forces while engaging in public tsk tsk white house mouth piece shenanigans?

I think a 'war with Russia' is one of the last things that would ever actually happen.

I think if she was president it would more likely be Iran than Russia.

No. But if there was a war between those two nations it would be the end of the human race.

It won't happen as there is not a profit motive which outweighs the risk assessment. That's how imperialists think, also Russia is not the least bit of a threat to the USA maybe if it was 1980 they may have been viewed as such but now they are a fellow capitalist nation moving in the same direction. US imperialism rarely becomes an invasion they would rather buy your nation and profit from the resources and labour of the population than invade. They only start a war when you refuse and they think they can win. If they can't win against Afghanistan after 9 years with international support then they couldn't beat Russia even with the current state of their military.

Could Sarah Palin be the first female President? scarily yes

I would be interested in witnessing the outrage following her election as president.

No, she couldn't. She wouldn't have the power to start a war with just anyone she wants to, so even if she wanted to there's no way it would get through. A war with Russia would be an obvious catastrophe and the US government and military isn't packed full of bumbling morons who would let that sort of thing occur.

The American ruling class wouldn't allow it as they know the Russian military is no push over and has a high risk of escalating into a nuclear war that probably wipe out most of mainland USA.

That's still only half, and I reckon they're not that stupid. Russia, for lack of a better expression, is packin'; no one could possibly benefit from such a war, and the entirety of Congress knows that I'm sure.

God forbid she ever becomes president. Leader of the free world indeed; we'd be boned.

I highly doubt that even 1% of the American ruling class are that stupid. You really shouldn't underestimate the calculating genius of the bourgeoisie. They wouldn't be able to maintain power if they were as stupid as Palin.

They usually pay other people to solve their problems for them. (Obviously, and like Palin does.) If they're specifically "Old Money" then you'll see the ignorance that they have with some of just the basics that you and me face on a daily basis. "New Money" people like Bill Gates or the guy who made Facebook are actually quite intelligent, but they don't have as much say as "Old Money" people do.

I highly doubt Sarah Palin, if elected, would try to begin war with Russia. Iran and Venezuela, for instance, are rather possible - as is the occupation of northern states of Mexico "to win the war on drugs", as they say it, for that matter.

Do you think its a Palins descision to be made?

And anyway, the first proxy war between Russia and US in Georgia,US took the dick.

She'd probably be a coward and attack some third world nation.

The people in my head were more of te new money types. I don't think all the old money types are as useless as their stereotype makes them appear. Otherwise I don't think they would be very good at establishing a personal agenda, properly investing, and paying off politicians.
