Turns out that Earthlike planets might be more common than once thought:

I seriously find this hard to believe. Makes me feel slightly less awful about us destroying this planet. xP

The title is slightly misleading, as this is actually just about mass:


Nearly one in four sun-like stars should host an Earth-mass planet, according to a new census.

So, Mercury (0.05 Earths!), Venus (roughly the same mass) and Mars (about half) are all "Earthlike".
