Camerons a bit of a twat really. No wait, he is a twat ! the only reason he wants to charge 9k a year for uni fees is so that the poor can't go and the rich can.
Why aren't the workers seeing this.
and if he thinks hes gettin back in power in the next general election, he can think twice.
P.S. his dog 'cleggers' is a twat too

He's part of the aristocracy 5th cousins with the Queen and after leaving university someone from the palace called the tory party, pulled some strings and got Dave a job.
If you can I'd change the title as twat could be viewed as reactionary language because of the origin of the word of course it isn't in the UK but some of the Americans are a bit touchy about these things.

Reactionary thread.
They're all, as you say, 'twats', whether it's Cameron, Clegg, Blair or Mervyn King. That one has a less desirable personality than another (in this respect then yes, Cameron, Osbourne and Clegg are people I have a hatred for), should not form any part of a class-based, Marxist analysis.

Why did many Brits vote for him?
In fact, many labour voters were angry with Brown, simply because Brown isn't loveable, and they voted for Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrats instead. In some issues, the Lib-Dems are to the left of Labour.
It is all history now, and I'll guess Nick Clegg won't get many votes in the next election. The question is whether Cameron would piss off people enough to vote on Red Ed.

Why did many Brits vote for him?
People were disillusioned with Labour, and fell for the illusion that the Tories represented a force for change.
Next election it may be a disillusionment with the Tories, only to find that they vote in Labour who continue with the same politics.

I'm not sure it was just because he wasn't loveable I think it was more to do with Labours unashamed and utter betrayal of it's working class base and a recession which was going to hit the middle class hard. Add to that the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and the fact that a new generation cannot remember the last major recession and the Tory government of the 80's as well as the neo-yuppie culture that had resulted from the sustained economic boom. There are hundreds of reasons but just because Brown isn't loveable is media propaganda although for some voters it may have had an impact it was mainly revenge for a thousand disappointments. It's the media who decides who our next Primeminister will be, interesting fact the Sun newspaper as given it's support during the election campaign to the winner of every general election since before Thatcher.

CHANGE was the buzzword after Barack Hussein Christ the Almighty got in in the states and Labour couldnt claim to be the force for CHANGE because theyd been in for 13 years.
A genuine TV interview, prior to the election, with a market trader in Wolverhampton, England:
Presenter: "So who do you think you'll vote for in the coming election?"
Market Trader: "Conservative"
Presenter: "And why is that?"
Market Trader: "Just... change, I think we need change..."
Presenter: "And what exactly would you like to see change?"
Market Trader: "just.... it's change... change.... i think we need change"
It continued in much the same manner for another minute or so.
As someone said above, the newspapers decide PM.

if he thinks hes gettin back in power in the next general election, he can think twice.
He will get back in: Cameron is a very wily politician. His plans to cap tuition fees, to make spending cuts to the public sector and possibly to privatise the NHS may be unpopular (amongst some) but he has other cunning strategies to act as a safety net.
Note that he has named the deadline for the withdrawal from Afgahnistan as 2015: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jun/25/british-soldiers-afghanistan-david-cameron
2015.
This is just before the next election and the idea to withdraw troops from Afgahnistan is very popular amongst the workers who are quite patriotic about their loved ones who are risking their lives to save the country. I believe this will buy the votes he needs.
Also, he will have set up all the measures he needs to get privatise the NHS (by allowing sections of NHS budgets to be sold of to private sectors) as well as keeping the amount of money spent on the NHS the same, if not even more.
But we can prevent this happening. If the Conservatives go too far then the Lib Dems may be forced to leave the coalition which would force a re-election (during which Labour would hopefully get back in). Some plans by the NUS to decapitate the Lib Dem party could prove to be quite helpful, if it is successful: http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2010/nov/13/nus-campaign-oust-lib-dems

Right then. I know you're new and everything, and evidently 'learningabouttheleft' (one would have to be if they were listing the CPGB-ML as their organisation I guess); but that doesn't mean you're to post threads in a serious part of the site with no analysis and a load of HARDY HAR HAR THESE PEOPLE ARE TWATS HA HA FOREHEADS.
If you're going to post stuff like this, do the decent thing and put it to Chit-Chat.

Well I don't agree with his politics but he's pretty much done what he said he would before the election so far. Also he got voted in by the majority of people at the end of the day so as long as he keeps up his populist tactics I don't see why he won't get voted in again.

(More4's rendition of Cameron and Boris Johnson at the Bullingdon Club. Basically, a bunch of guys who would get drunk and smash up restaurants, being able to pay for the damages with their daddies' money.)
The good man has barely ever had to do a day of work in his life. He was born with silver, gold, and platinum spoons in his mouth, and ended up with dozens of them stuffed in every orifice for good measure. 'Nuff said.
