What are your thoughts on what she is doing?

It seems as if such graffiti would be done by someone who opposes the acceptance of hijabs, burqas, etc. If I were to see instances of graffiti such as those pictured, I'd think that they were pointing out the threat of Islamification.

I could maybe see what you're saying, if it wasn't already against the law to wear a Burka or Hijab, like it is in France. If it was somewhere here in American or the UK, then I might agree, but I think somewhere in France it's pretty obvious the point she's trying to get across to people.

Ah, I thought that it was only the Burqa that was banned in France, but the Hijab is as well (it should be noted that they're only illegal to wear inside government institutions). At the same time though, I don't believe it's an effective method whatsoever. I sure as hell wouldn't want to see hijab-covered people on my billboards, just as most people in Islamic theocratic states wouldn't want to see bikini-clad women (or men for that matter) on theirs. To me, it would simply reinforce why such garments were banned in the first place.

Referring to what The Count said, I was, at first, quite unsure of the message she was trying to put across, be it pro-burqas or anti-Islam. If I'm completely honest, I still am, although if this were to happen the UK, I'd certainly like to see the outcome and the face of the far-right...

Maybe she's born with it - maybe it's Islam.

Maybe she just started painting hijabs because she think they look cool then took advantage of the hijab ban to get some attention. I think it wasn't any planned thing, or intended a specific message, she says in the article that she used to draw womens wering hijabs some time before the law.
Anyway I think is an interesting thing what she's doing she should carry on.
