Yesterday (11.11) there was independence day in Poland.
Biggest fascist demonstration was in Warsaw, with record number of fash around 1000 people, but also record number of people against them -4-5 thousand). Fascists march had to be re-routed through side streets due to blockades. Lots of fights all day between antifascist "sport teams" and nazis/fascists. Picture of the loot : http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/6439/netaz.jpg What is interesting that due to large number of fascist footbal hooligans on the march there was a fight betwen supprters of both Warsaw teams- it was supposed to be arranged hooligan-type fight, but Legia Warsaw lot drew knifes and stabbed few Polonia fans, as a result of them one is in heavy condition in hospital, and two others with serious cuts as well. funny as fuck! :) Now they trying to say that it was Antifa that did it and they want to place blame on Legia Warsaw- this guys really sometimes give us too much credit ;)
Few hundred people protesting against 200 strong fascist march in Wroclaw, blockades not too succesful due to heavy handed police tactics that attacked each time people tried to form a blockade, but definitely resistance isa growing!
Morre detailed reports in few days.

Antifa report:
11th of November- Warsaw says "NO" to fascists!
As every year Anti-fascists organised lots of actions in connection with planned fascist march going through Warsaw.
Fascists and their sympathisers organised under banner of National-Radical Camp and Commonpolish Youth (second group considered even by fascists themselves to be police grasses
http://www.konfidenci.info/ ) planned proud demonstration through the city.
Scheduled beginning for the march was significantly delayed due to blockades with big participation of groups of radical, militant Anti-facists. Despite attemps by the police to get rid of blockades with use of force and provocations (for example ambulance and firebrigade truck trying to get through in order to clear the way for the police) blockades stayed in place and "proud" march of fascists had to be re0directed by the police to tight side streets.
During fascist march going through changed route there were continuous skirmishes between Antifa and groups of fascists. Anti-fascists during later, spontaneous blockades were also attacked by the police and about dozen people got detained.
During whole action police sided with the fascists, ignoring their agressive behaviour and attacking blockade participants. (report from one of such attacks in Polish here
http://www.rozbrat.org/publicystyka/kontrola-spoeczna/1477-po-chuj-tu-przyjezdzales-pedale-relacja-aresztowanego-aktywisty )
For many fascists it was difficult, if not outright impossible to get to march that day. For many followers of National-Radicalism surprises were awaiting (we can't go into details here, sufficient to say some ended up their day in hospital instead of attending the demo). Many of them realised that showing and spreading their criminal ideologies is connected with very high risk.
It is worth mentioning incident, that happened during nationalist march, where hooligans of two hostile teams decided to sort things out bertween themselves. About 100 metres from Dmowski monument (historical leader of nationalists) there was arranged fight between them. One of them used knife and as a result 3 participants of "honourable" fight ended up in hospital with serious wounds, one of them with 7 stab wounds to the back.
Anti-fascist actions from 11th of November should be considered succesful both because of effective blockades forcing fascists to march through the side streets and also because of effective direct action carried on the day, causing lots of confusion among the fash and weakening their morale.
At the same time we learn lessons from our mistakes in order for our struggle to be more effective.
As militant Anti-fascists we reassure you, that our political struggle is not carried on in name of footbal club sympathies and with participation of supporters of any particular club. We state that because of rumours than many football hooligans, among the others from Polonia Warszawa, are in our ranks. We want to sate this is not true.

http://www.se.pl/multimedia/galeria/50570/97074/obchody-swieta-niepodlegosci/ picture of a fascist hooligan finding out first hand about "Aryan bortherhood of blood". There was also information about Legia hooligans attacking people that went to donate blood to injured Polonia hooligans right outside the hospital. You gotta love them :)

Good trashing. What is it that the banner says about Roman Dmowski by the way? I don't know much about him beyond being a nationalist and anti-semite (but I suppose those are enough for the fascists to love him).

No, I was just wandering what the basic jist of it was(though I'm guessing it's probably some nonsense on national supremacy, unity, purity, what ever) I'm just surprised from the sheer size of that damn banner, that's a nice thing to knock off them.

Saying NO to fascism is good, no matter who says it, good job Poland, fascists have not been good to Poland, that's for sure.
