In this game you play as a political party with a platform and ideology. I will attempt to be as objective as possible and no ideology is banned to play as such.
I made an invisionfree forum to run it, since running such games on threads tended to get messy.
The link is in my signature, as I cannot post links in posts.

First turn starts on this Monday. There are currently 6 parties registered (socialistic/eurocommunist, socialist, federalist, seccessionist, libertarian, neofascist). There's currently a max limit of 10 parties per "country" (more might be added after a while), but more than one player can play as the same party (ie, turns and such must be negotiated and there's potential for disagreements).

Updates are done in a newspaper style, and the Turn 0 update is posted. The newspaper reports on something that is on the public mind in each of the province, and might report on what some of the parties are up to. During government, it may support or disapprove of governmental actions unless of course there's massive censorship on the loose.

The population is divided into 100 population units. Each unit has a class, ethnicity, religion and political will. Class is what that section of the people work with (and thus also what kind of effect they have on the economy). Ethnicity and religion speaks for itself. Political Will is how conscious the Unit is of their own needs. Political Will 1 population units may be swayed by celebrity support, fall for baseless propaganda and slander much more easy than a unit with higher Political Will. Higher Political Will will however make the population units much more stubborn, making it harder to sway. Political Will also determines how likely the Unit is to vote.

The first country is Zeelontica, with a start date of 1950. A fictional island chain located somewhere in the north pacific, with a temperate culture and deep seated tensions between the population. It recently ousted a military dictator, and parties and other organisations are banding together for the coming elections.

The one good thing that people can say about the military dictatorship, was that it managed to play the emerging superpowers of WW2 at bay. Now the USA and the USSR are both looking to get a firmer hold on the island. Parties must choose to either throw their lot with one of these powers, or pursue isolationist policies. What will the people of Zeelontica favour?
