A little off the revolutionary history, but still history nonetheless.

For a college project, I need some highly accurate sources for info (casualties, battles, leaders, etc) of the Persian Invasions of Greece in the late BC eras. I'm searching for sources also, but I'd like some help too.

There are sources about the Greco-Persian Wars, but there are not accurate at all. The main source for these events should be the greek historian Herodot. As I mentioned, his writings are far from being accurate, for instance, he claims the persian army to be one million men large, which is highly exaggerated.

"Wikipedia is acceptable, but not preferred" says our history professor. I can hardly believe, that a history professor speaks about Wikipedia like this. How can Wikipedia be a source (!) for anything?
