Try looking up a group called common cause, they're active in Ontario.

There's lots of them. Most groups active in Canada have sections in Toronto, and a lot of them are headquartered there. There's a few to seriously avoid though, such as the International Bolshevik Tendency, the International Socialists, and anyone who uses the words "Maoism-Third Worldism" in a sentence.
