Ways to combat Anti-Semitic Conspiracy's Regarding the Bolshevik Revolution?

I am trying to convince him otherwise.

So I ask, does anyone have some Valid points I could use to combat this ridiculous observation of History?

Although I have many, many valid points against his argument, more would not hurt, from a leftist community that is more aware of the subject then I am.

Then I used the same point.

The problem with that, is that there is no legitimate evidence to point towards that conclusion, but fanatic reactionaries don't care in the least bit...

The Bolshevik revolution was supported and carried out by oppressed groups, which included Jews. You've already put it to rest. Is he saying that there was some Jewish cabal, meeting in some secret chamber with their secret Jewish newsletter only Jews get, orchestrating the Bolshevik revolution to expand the influence of international Jewry?

Are these the same Jews that also control and direct global capitalism as well?

If they don't listen to external rational arguments, their opinions likely weren't formed through such (eg aren't based on "proof"), even they represent their opinions in the form of rational external arguments (eg reference "proof"). That probably means that he is (crypto-)anti-Communist and (crypto-)anti-Semite and just wants to connect aspects of his world view. He backs that up with "proof" and "arguments" which can't be held. Even if you destroy them, the underlying aspects remain intact and the connection does too. It just seems really irrational.

Try to find general Anti-Semite or Anti-Communist resentments in his argumentation and attack those.

This is somewhat connected to the topic, but here is Eugene V. Debs absolutely murking some racist who wrote to him saying that the Socialist Party shouldn't be sympathetic to the concerns of black people.

Needless to say, it is one of the most viscous ownings ever recorded in the written word. You will laugh and cry at how Debs mops this dude. This is how leftists should deal with racists after their arguments are busted.

I didn't word it very well when I told him, but next time I see him I'll word it much better, and then possibly mock him :thumbup:

Mock him, make fun of him.Here is a technique I've used with online nazis several times. It helps that I'm a Jew.

Agree with him. And then take it to an absurd level. Explain to him that he's right: that, in fact, the Jews control virtually everything.

Then, explain to him that, in fact, Jews control him. Ask him why he thinks he's been successful even though Jews control everything. Tell him it's because the Jews have not only permitted him to be successful but have secretly aided and abetted his success. Otherwise, it wouldn't have happened.

I usually end this by explaining that, in fact, I am the "Jewish Monitor" for that particular individual, and that we Jews will continue to monitor him. If he's successful, it's because the Jews let him. Should he' fail, it's because his Jewish Monitor got pissed at him.

Some of them get the ironic point. Some just get pissed off. Either way. it's a fun riff.
