These are my predictions for WWIII which will be soon, probably within next five 5 years.
Blue vs. Red
Grey = I don't know enough or will not be involved
Yellow = Will have debilitating internal turmoil

You think India would side against the west and fight alongside Pakistan, interesting. WW3 ain't gonna happen any time soon if ever. Two reasons their are not two blocks of powerful countries who's interests conflict and the profit motive is not there, it's far more profitable for the bourgeois to let globalization take hold.

I predict Canada will bomb a water reserve in Australia and everyone will then pick sides. WORLD WAR THREE!
Oh wait that's ridiculous. Like this thread.

why would Egypt be fighting the against America etc?
why, if Somalia is invloved, is Ehtiopa not fighting for the blues?
why would Algeria and Moroco be on the same sides?
why is Ukraine, a NATO candidate not fighting for the blues?
Why is Georgia fighting for the reds, alongside Russia?
Are you stupid?

I like how Vietnam is fighting against the US. As if they haven't made who their friends are clear enough recently.

It looks like a map of the world revolution after a few decades.
red = socialist
blue = capitalist
grey = imperialist intervention
yellow = strategic equilibrium

This is a silly topic; however, it intrigued me enough to make one of my own 'prediction maps'. I think it's pretty safe to say that the United States and Western Europe would prevail once again.
Here's the link because the pic is ginormous:

Edit: Whoops, I forgot to add that the Caucasus would likely be annexed by Russia.

Come'on, give him some slack. Obviously you're right, but we all had silly thoughts like this once in our revleft career, haven't we?
One thing, is the instability of the India region. India's got trouble with both Pakistan and China, and you know it's going to play up. This will surely make the two camps (blue and red) less clearly defined.

This should be moved to chit chat.
That said, there's really no chance for the suggested two blocs to form, especially the red one has too many contradictions. I doubt for instance that the bolivarian/socialist/social democrat Latin American states would directly side with Iran in a war against the suggested 'blue bloc'. Neither would Russia, or China, or India, etc.
All these countries may aid each other financially and materially, but fighting side by side in some kind of global conflict? I very highly doubt it.

Unfortunately, this is the mayor 'foreign' policy flaw of the bolivarian nations: they do snuggle really close against Iran.
I do question; who cares about Somalia? Seriously. There's barely any central internal policy, let alone foreign affairs. Let alone that any of the blocks would bother, apart perhaps for propogana reasons.
India is problematic though.

Indeed, they do. But the original reason behind the cooperation between the countries is mutual economical dependance, rather than some ideological closeness.
Thusly I'm still convinced that any cooperation will be limited to financial agreements and material aid. I just can't see Chavez or Castro declaring war on the US for attacking the Islamic Republic, can you?
Condemning the attack? Sure, but that's it.

If you don't like it, say so. I asked for others to critique it. However, you don't have to try to insult me. That is unnecessary. Because you know more others about world politics does not mean you should go around insulting people. If you said something I didn't agree with, I would give you my opinion on the statement, but I would not make a direct attack at you.
I made the map because Fidel Castro has expressed his fear that a nuclear war is about to take place. I think it would go global, so I am trying to predict the countries involved and on which side they would be on. I value the opinion of members of this forum, but if I can't come here to learn without being disrespected, then keep this place to yourselves and you guys can show off how smart you are to each other.

That's actually a very good point that I thought about when making mine. I doubt that they would actually go to war with each other. Not many people realize how intertwined they are.

Well actually I don't really see that as being too odd, if enough people in the US critisise China for censorship, it's not too big of a leap to think they might not be fighting side by side.

Well, the three of them are cooperating in the BRIC pact, which is openly admitted a cooperation to go breakthe American economic monopower status.

If SCO is strengthened under Chinese leadership, the conflict with the west will be inevitable, but take the form of intense proxy wars in Africa. The side which is losing the resource markets would have to surrender politically.
In short, CW II instead of WW III.

my thoughts as well. the modern capitalist bourgeoisie is tied hand and foot in ways they never were in 1914 or '39.

This map is way off...like if someone been in a bunker since like the 50s (pre the post-cold war era) made it.
I'm not going to bother making a prediction map for WWIII, that's just morbid.

The Revolutionary Militias of Luxembourg will soon conquer Belgium and the Netherlands. From there it is only a relatively small step to conquer France, Germany and the UK, taking the bulk of the economic power of the EU. This power in turn is used to take the rest of Europe after which there are landings in Northern-Africa and Russia. From there on there will be invasions of the Middle-East, Central and South-Asia and China. After the Pacific is secured there are landings on the Eastern and Western coastlines of Latin-America and work their way up North until the entire planet is under the control of Greater Luxembourg.
Fear Luxembourg!

I think you have it basically right - but India would be definately blue because it is a Hindu nation... and Pakistan's arch-enemy.
Brazil would probably also be blue.
Russia is a good question, I think it could really go either way - it has historically always had "one-foot-in-asia-and-one-foot-in-europe" - that is it is both west and east.

ireland wouldnt be fucking blue. It is a part of the European Union, quite a wholehearted member in fact, and relies on them for both financial and political support. All of its closest allies are part coloured in blue too. It would have literally nothing to gain and everything to lose, as a capitalist geoploitical entity, by siding with the countries in red. In fact, if it did try that its physical proximity to overwhelming numbers of hostile nations (i.e Western Europe) would result in a very swift military defeat before the war got underway in any serious manner.

You basically just took the whole third world against the First World. Along with China and Russia.

Total annihilation (if it's fought traditionally). I think WW3 may already be happening- we just can't see it, not on any marked battle field as was the days when Red Coats would stand in formation waiting to be shot or in Vietnam when soldiers would jump out of helicopters to certain death but normally in a more subversive manner with rare violent attacks being facilitated by proxies.
