Come attend a public forum on
DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM IN AMERICA

SUNDAY, AUGUST 17 at 3:00 PM

EAST CRAMTON PARK in LAPEER, MICHIGAN, USA

The forum is an introduction to democratic socialism and some questions we hope to answer include:
-- What is democratic socialism?
-- Who is the Socialist Party and who were some (in)famous American socialists?
-- What is the history of the Socialist Party and socialists in America?
-- How have socialists influenced American politics and society?

In addition, there will be a special appearance by Geoff Braasch, a candidate for the Socialist Party Presidential nomination. Learn more about his campaign at www.geoffbraasch.org.

The forum will take place at the pavilion in the southeastern part of Cramton Park on the south side of the Flint River. View a map showing the pavilion. (http://www.michigansocialist.net/images/lapeermap.gif)
