Couple of tips to get the maximal amount of replies: When you post the questionnaire, it should be done in a new thread which you link to in your signature and PM/IM people about, telling them to participate. A separate post should also be made in the reactionary chatter thread in OI.

This time, perhaps we can get an admin to post it as a 'board announcement' as well. I'll ask one of them.

Remember to announce in beforehand when the awards ceremony will be held. And then when it's time, start the Awards thread in Chit Chat and invite everyone to the ceremony in livechat where the results are announced live.

So, when will the awards be held? :) Well, I figured I'd give it a few weeks to a month, want people to have time to respond. So late nov, early Dec. Probably on a Thursday because I don't have school then. I'll have a more precise date in a week or so.

judging from last year it is unrealistic, it will be great if we even reach 50 this time.Last year i did it with 40 i think.But just like every year, the first days get the most, and its then when things get harder, after 20-25, cause those seemed like the "standards" and the rest seem to be newbies attracted to this.I hope i am mistaken though and we indeed reach 100:)

It would be unrealistic if we'd just passively wait for replies, yes. I'm however counting on us being able to increase the amount of answers coming in by taking certain active measures. Don't forget that I'm a salesman. ;)

Us actively telling people about it, the adding of the poll in this thread and the post in OI, the link in Il Medico's sig, and last but not least the posting of this thread as a RevLeft announcement -- if one of you admins just could do it -- should all contribute to make a difference.

By thusly exposing the event really actively for a relatively short time, we'll be able to get in a larger amount of replies faster.

Hard to know. I really have no idea how many replies the others that held them got, such as FoB (which doctor), Blackberry etc.

I don't really remember the exact amount when I held them, either. I guess there were around 30 replies, which felt a bit low. Some had also only filled in the revleft section ignoring the rest, but I guess it's just the funniest part.

Now that we had a more active campaign this year I'd be surprised if we won't get at least 50 answers, we already have 30 after 2 days or so. Perhaps 100 was a bit far-fetching but I still don't consider 70 impossible..

Nothing hard, at all, i was just in the chat last year, invited everyone in, and i started saying like, ok i no posted the graphs go see them(and people were doing that), then when graphs were over, we started with the awards.I was posting the nominations in the result thread first, and was saying in the chat that i posted noms, then discussion was going on for a bit until i prepared the results, and i announced results first in chat, and then post them in the forum, and so on and so on.

Some time in early December. The semester is coming to a close so what day precisely will depend on my schedule. But right now I'm thinking the 12th (which is a Sunday I think) two days after classes end for me.

Also, don't forget you only have till the 30th to submit your survey.
