He should perhaps realize that what he's doing makes him immortal- that death isn't the end.

Or he'll disappear and when it's questioned the Intelligence Community and Defense Department will shrug and say 'well, I mean he WAS paranoid and on the run- maybe he had enough and just left'

I don't think the CIA would kill him. If they did that would be a huge defeat for them because it would be too obvious that it was the US government who killed him. Even if they played it off as if he was killed my a mugger, people would not believe that story.

It would send shock waves and people would get to see just how brutal their State is to keep information down.
