Anti-imperialist, anti-fascist, anti-racism, pro-planned economy, for the abolition of the class system.
To sum it up in just a few.

Here are some sights for you to look at:
Marx2Mao (http://www.marx2mao.org/)
MIM (http://www.etext.org/Politics/MIM/)
Trotskyist Site, though you can avoid his section if you want hehe (http://www.marxists.org/)
There are more, but that should be enough for you if you want to get started.
books to read:
1. Capital by Karl Marx
2. Manifesto of the Communist Party by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels
3. The State and Revolution by Vladimir Lenin
Those are the essentials, there's millions more. :D

Help With Learning Marxism
First of all, "The Communist Manifesto" by Marx and Engles, the basic document of communism:
http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works...festo/index.htm (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1848/communist-manifesto/index.htm)
Second, a document by Engles who explains very good what is communism, it gave me answers to many questions, "Principles of Communism":
http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works...11/prin-com.htm (http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/11/prin-com.htm)
And now, after the basic documents, and even before them, go to the "Learning Marxism?" of MIA (Marxist Internet Archive):
http://www.marxists.org/subject/students/index.htm
"Youth For International Socialism" has an FAQ section, written from a Trotzkyst point of view:
http://www.newyouth.com/archive/theory/marxismfaq.asp
"Maoist International Movement" also has an FAQ section, written from a Maoist point of view:
http://www.etext.org/Politics/MIM/faq/index.html
I hope I helped you with information, those sites will give you ALL the basic knowledge about Communism.

to save you the trouble of reading a lot of things, just read the manifesto (http://www.anu.edu.au/polsci/marx/classics/manifesto.html). If you need anything explained to you, or you need help with definitions, people, or communist terminology, visit the Encyclopedia of Marxism (http://www.marxists.org/glossary/frame.htm)
