Ah, the perfect justification for a US invasion into yet another middle eastern country and it looks like the US helped start/supported/s this organization. Big surprise. Create a terrorist organization to "justify" an invasion and dismantling of a government that is not in line with the "American" (that is, the rich investor-capitalists who are in bed with the government) interests.
God it is all so fucked up.
I'd be interested to see if there is an in depth analysis/theory/explanation of exactly how these things come about. Are there any studies of the actual reasons that the Bush administration and congress invaded Iraq and Afghanistan? Who in particular were they looking out for and how did that act help them? Same with this? Whose interests specifically will be served by this and how? Trying to create some dialogue on this.
