Who's worse? I'm inclined to say Beck, because I think he's better at disguising his intentions, but Limbaugh also used "code words" that worked for his place in the time-space continuum of right-wing discourse. Both of them whipped up and harnessed racial-nationalist currents in American society, but who do you think did it better?

I think that they're significantly different.

Limbaugh is mostly a "water carrier" for the GOP. Of course there's some ideology behind all of it, but I've listened to his show on occassion, and he seems more like an old-school partisan attack dog more than anything.

Beck is a whole other story. His rhetoric seems more preachy and ideologically driven, and he's gone out of his way to reiterate that he currently has little to no faith in the GOP as a party, even though he's a "conservative". Plus all of the crap about "restoring national honor", "getting on your knees" and praying, which thankfully Limbaugh has never uttered.

There is a similarity, though: both have admitted that what they're primarily entertainers.

They're both equally as bad, but just coming from different angles of the same idea.

I voted Beck since, while Limbaugh just attacks democrats, Beck scaremongers about unions and radicalism.
