'Che was a Stalinist. If che-lives, stalinism-lives, and if stalinism-lives, marxism-leninism-lives'

A comrade on this forum came up with this. But there are other views. A lot of depth can be payed to his beleifs. Of course the start of it would be socialism, and certainly he was a Marxist-Leninist.

One notable theory he expounded was that of the moral incentive to work; to labour for the collective benefit of society. This quote from Che shows the foundation of this idea:

'the Marxist concept that man truly achieves his full human condition when he produces without being compelled by the physical necessity of selling himself as a commodity.'

Marxist-Leninist-Maoist (supported Stalin) for political ideology. You'd probably talk to someone who knows more about his particulars. I'm not sure to specifics. Just know a general term for his ideology.

Comrades Mao and Elijah,

Years ago I was working with some kats in Mexico City, old kats. You know the kats I'm talking about. It was one of the first times I had ever been sent to the States from Europe. Just before I left I was living in Rome. (I can only hope you are picking up what I'm laying down here) Anyway, I stayed in Mexico City and other towns in Mexico, (saying "town" is an overstatement in most cases comrades) and eventually got partnered up with these two South American gentlemen (among others), both of which claimed to have worked directly with comrade Guevara. (I did not ask if this was in Cuba or Bolivia)

These two people used to tell me stories about how Che was probably the most ruthless individual they had ever come across when it conmcerned counter-revolutionaries. A couple stories made Stalin look like he was was a baby kitty. They (both admitted "stalinists") advised me that Comrade Guevara was an avid "stalinist".

How true these stories were (I'm sure they perhaps could have been embellished) I don't know. They seemed absolutely genuine in their belief that they were telling the truth, so I have no reason to doubt their validity.

Just a little party history for you that you won't find in a Marxist.com article.

Yes Comrade RAF, I'll always know what you're talking about, you can tone it down if you like.

I have read some anecdotes about Che that concur very much with what you're saying.

After reading a few books , on his bio, speeches, and diaries. What stands out most about Che, is the fact he evolved in his thinking process. As a young medical student in Argentina, he sets out on a grand adventure through parts of the South American continent. And that is really where it all begins. When a person witnesses poverty first hand. Not by some remote economic theory. But by living among the poor himself. It caused a great passion to rise up in him, against the injustices he witnessed. And a change occured that remained with him his whole life. A thought; understanding comes through learning, but a passion comes from experiencing. May we all one day gain the passion, for a better world. <_<
