Out here in the states, as far as I know, labor day is about 20 days away. What are we in the revolutionary community going to do to make this Labor Day memorable? (This is more for individual contemplation than one that begs a response, but... if you have any ideas you could share I'd be down to gather some ideas.) Any good propaganda like the syndicalist (IWW) essay "The boss needs you, you don't need the boss"?

I am not sure the U.S. Labor Day is worth celebrating. It was devised toward the end of the Nineteenth Century to siphon moderate workers out of May Day. The first of May, or May Day, is the real Labor Day. It is a leftist day that celebrates the working class in the international way that was intended. Labor Day in the U.S. makes no distinction between workers and bosses... I am not sure if a leftist would even bother trying to reclaim a holiday like that...

Any day we have an excuse to show our power and forward our message is a day we should. "The boss needs you, you don't need the boss" flyers may or may not be an attempt to reclaim the holiday, but it's not the holiday I'm interested in seeing reclaimed.
