The Coming Break up of China?

I had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine, and we came to talk about a future break up of China, on Economic and social lines.
What do you all think of this?

Despite all the hype about China right now and it's capitalism on steroids reforms I believe because of this China is doomed to fail. Once they get a taste of their first economic collapse it will probably be worse than any Great Depression or Recession we and the world has had. Not to mention China doesn't remotely have anything close to a democratic system so that will also add fuel to the upcoming fire of disaster that I predict will happen to China if they keep going on this road.

Because that's what happens in capitalism, it's inevitable.
