Today, I went to a small coffee shop that I have never heard of it. Unfortunately, there are full of 20/20 glasses and some without shoes or just sandals with full of dull face. I immediately left the store and gasp for nice air.

there are plenty on my campus. bourgeois area, predominantly white, middle to upper-middle income earning class, and its a community college.

It not that, it is the fact that some; if not most hipsters would ostracized you for not being alternative or different. Plus from what i learn from watching sundanice and IFC; there are a lot of companies and corps that air there ads on those two channels. Go after the alternative style anti mainstream style.

I read them ages ago" His response was was he was reading more important things. I don't hate hipsters but this one was a prick!

I find that people usually don't know what hipsters are unless they themselves are hipsters. That means you are safe, for the while.

Of course a hipster would never admit they are a hipster, and some even deny to know what a hipster is. Or they come up with reasons why they aren't hipsters. Or they use different words. Or they are hipsters in one way but are not hipsters in another.

Truely, hipsters are the most vague, most dialectical of sub cultures.

I met people who thought they were all smart that they knew parts of philosophy books verbatim or what not yet could barely hold a a serious conversation on such topics or lack basic knowledge of the field (like terms such as epistemology, a-priori, posteriori, etc), did not analyze independently the work (like, because it was written by some "exalted dude" they thought it must be right or something), and were full of shit.

But mostly only in high school, I've seen very little of them in college.

I don't hate hipsters I just like to mock them a lot. My sister is into that whole new hip-hop form of hipster fashion that has become popular as alternative hip-hop becomes more popular.
