I just Instaled ICQ on my PC but what is it actually? a friend of mine said it was the same as Yahoo messenger and MSN messenger but how does ICQ work?? anyone ???

ICQ is an instant messaging thing, kinda like MSN or Yahoo, 'cept you use a series of numbers instead of email adresses, and you when you want to add another contact you input these numbers..
Okay, maybe I'm not the best at explaining this, but it's simple once you get the hang of it. :P

hmm... I already enterd my ICQ number but when can I chat with people? do I have to know their numbers first??

The only messenger I use is ICQ. Its probably worse than MSN, but it has some things MSN doesn't. It has a lot of users all around the world, I am not sure if MSN does so much.

Yeah I only use ICQ...its alot more international. I've gotten used to it over the years and I prefer it to AIM or MSN...icq me if you need help...my # is on my profile..

indeed...i have msn, AIM, ICQ and YAhoo messenger but i almost always use msn cuz its so easy to use..
btw..I know i have added a couple of you guys in my msn list but ive been so busy lately that i wasn't able to most of the people i added...excuze moi :rolleyes:

Just stick to msn. I had I ICQ for a while but I unistalled it cus it bothered me :P Most people use MSN anyways.

I actually just finally got MSN...after about 5 years of having ICQ...dunno, doesn't capture my attention...too AOL-y....which is funny cuz AOL owns ICQ ...hm

I got ICQ Lite. I look realy nice but nobody I know has it. <_< They all have AIM so I use that more.
