This is a list of reviews for the movie Waiting for Superman that I've compiled for a close personal friend of mine that has been praising this movie, in spite of holding to some progressive anti-establishment, anti-capitalist views. My friend seems to have drank the cool aid, and right now I'm pretty pissed off and emotionally down, because I felt that through our many conversations I was winning her over to the side of the revolutionary left. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be happy to hear them.

Take her to a school and let her see who does the real work: workers (teachers) or management (principals and school board).

Wow she clearly needs to learn to find the root of the problem instead of scapegoating. The problem is the horrible curriculm. The outdated Cold War math and science set up. Maybe teaching real history might help as well? Teachers aren't the problem and she is stupid for thinking so.

Hey comrade, did you miss the part where I mentioned they're close personal friends. I don't appreciate you calling her stupid! Kind of takes the punch out of an otherwise informative post. Try to be more civil, ok?
