It's an excellent film. Tahar Rahim shines in it, and it's a really interesting look at the ethnic hierarchies within the French prison system (if indeed that's really how it is in French prison).
I love that scene near the end where they're sent to assassinate the high-ranking figure in the Corsican mafia, and the shoot-out that ensues.

Yeah, it's a great movie. Definitely one of the best foreign films I've seen from Europe.

thanks for the comments i saw it last week and thought it was a great film and the performance by Tahir Rahim was excellent. but a question why is it called a Prophet?

It comes from that scene where he predicts the deer jumping out in front of the car right before it happens, which prompts one of the gangsters to say "what are you, a prophet?"
