I think the worst thing one can do politically is do cry fascism too quickly. Rand Paul and the whole tea party movement are mainly ex-right-libertarians who have quickly dropped all of their distinctive "libertarian" features in order line up with moderate republicans. Basically the only thing still interesting about the Tea Party is how vigorously it touts the Constitution without actually understanding the thing. That and how they basically openly accept ignorance about issues by claiming they have "common sense" that can somehow be applied to the extremely complicated economics of capitalism.
Fascist party's accept and promote violence, I doubt that any Rand Paul supporter would openly condone this. And even people in the video seem to be telling him to stop.

Its not fascism, but that's not the point. The point is that Tea-Partiers are acting like an anarcho capitalist militia. The word used to describe them shouldn't be important, but we should make sure to not yell fascism when there is no fascism. Anarcho-capitalists are almost as bad as fascists. So the thread should have been violent anarcho-capitalists in the US.

I really find it quite stupid that people think it's necessary to describe such acts as fascism. It's not fascism, it's capitalism. You don't need to use an entirely different word for it. That implies that you believe capitalism is not capable of commiting such atroscities.

This is not particular to the tea party movement.

its not a capitalist or a fascist atrocity.
its not an atrocity.
its just a reactionary fucker being an asshole.
whats important though is it shows the fact that they are not peaceful or passive. they are just as agressive as ever. probably a litte more so after all the scare brought by beck.

I thanked your post but would like to add, "They" include democrats :) Obama has been responsible for the expansion of war in Afghanistan and into Yemen (insert long list of democrat party tomfoolery here).
This silly capitalist infighting is nothing new. As I said in the other thread- they have no substantive reason to fight or argue with each other (even peacefully). Both parties are one in the same. The illusion of choice. The manufacturing of consent for what is in reality one agenda that will go forward no matter which party is in power.
If conditions actually arose for the overthrow of capitalism the democrat party and their supporters would become reactionary to the bone. The people who agitate, organize and take on activism in the name of the democrat party are, well, part of the problem. Just as much if not more so than the idiots assaulting that idiot in the video :)

Fascism is something that runs on a monopoly, post-corporatism or something.

I think this is appauling to be honest. He could have shot her and she would have kept more dignity. What the heck is wrong with these people. They may not be fascist, but they are certainly not democratic in any sense either.
