So is there anyone here that doesn't listen to just punk/folk/hipster music? I feel alone.

Currently listening to: Knockout by Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj, next on the list is Girls on The Dance Floor by Far East Movement.

I don't like to spend money at clubs, but I usually spend the same amount going to the bar Thursdays anyways :(.

I'm not a fan of the song, but T.I is decent in general.

@Zeekloid mad props my man, I love The Fame Monster. Those driving synths, catchy hooks and pretty unique vocals really make it for me. I can't say I cared much for The Fame, but TFM is one of my favourite albums hands down.

Haha Jack me and you should hit the clubs. :p

I only like that T.I song because they used to play it a lot in clubs. I actually don't listen to hip hop that much other than for dancing/clubbing.

I'm more into house, or at the very least hip hop with house beats (ala the music in Say Yeah, which is from an Alice DeeJay song) for dancing or at parties.

So usually more things like this (though I wouldn't call these House, I just can't think of a better term right now):

Also, check out the Sam Adams version of this. I usually don't listen to white rappers, but he has a couple decent songs.

Also, RevLeft club night....everyone gets laid.

I'm so out of touch with the club scene, all I can think of is this:

Yea good choice of music for clubbing!!!

Revleft club night or not, I'm not looking to get laid. I'm not into that kind of revolution. :P

I like all music as long as it has a good beat/rhythm. I'm even willing to overlook some of teh reactionary/misogynistic gangster rap lyrics in order to just relax and live life with a good soundtrack playing in the background as I have fun :)

I'll admit it though, I'm a tattooed "punk rocker". An X punk rocker. In my old age I think "scenes" and labels are kinda silly. Hell, I'm willing to bet, if you're from America, I know more about hip-hop than you do :) I love it all. Good music is one of the many reasons to be alive.

I'll even listen to this with a smile on my face-

So long as people aren't taking it (and life) too seriously. As far as hip hop (in my favorite old school CD collections) I prefer east coast 1980's-1990's shit. Real hip hop. The west coast stuff can be so reactionary and misogynistic you almost have to laugh. Kinda like life in general.

Good stuff ^ Good west coast stuff. Paris is cool as well-
