Four Maoists who were arrested in China for their political views a month after Mao died in 1976. Mao's widow was one of them. That's all I know about it.

The Gang of four were four of the Communist party members who claimed to be wishing to return to the ideas of the Cultural Revolution and greater equality.They were led by Maos wife Jiang qing and were imprisoned by Deng Xiaoping as they voiced opposition to his intended reforms.The gang of four considered themselves the inheritors of Mao.
