retirement age to 66?
18bn of welfare cuts?
removal of ema for poor pupils?
500k public sector job losses?
university tuition fees up to 10,000 odd?
One solution; revolution.

yet, despite the recent comments by the IFS think tank stating that the poorest families are hit the hardest (therefore contradicting the gov) they still say that it does not! It would be nice if they cared to explain this contradicting opinion.

People are waking up. Once these cuts take a hold, people are really gonna feel it.

We'll see.
I think that if we manage to turn public opinion right against the tories and the mainstream media, and then have a one day general strike or something along those lines, youll see the people becoming massively militant.
the french arent any more 'militant' than brits, its merely a cultural/ circumstancial difference, and it wouldnt take much to turn that around i feel

Fair point. I find what Rupert Murdoch said laughable. He stated that he thought the cuts were good and at the same time praised Thatcher by saying just like her, this gov should not be for turning.
