Capitalists generally prefer peace, except when the country in question is nationalising resources, has access to resources not under corporate control or are in need of selling weapons.

Right-wing libertarianism see some kind of antagonism between the state and capital. If such an antagonism really existed, then we wouldn't have states in the first place.

Right Libertarian is a contradiction in my opinion.

You're basically letting corporations run everything, removing worker's rights, and letting private imperialism occur.

I propose the left take "Libertarian" back. Those in the US who profess to be "Libertarian" are now "Free Market Liberals".

There's much smoke lefties blow about how capitalism causes imperialism. On the contrary, it is the state which mobilizes the capacities of violence that are able to wage wars of imperialist aggression. War is the health of the state, as they say. However, true libertarians, in opposing the state, oppose the capacities of violence that create imperialism. Left and right may not agree on many things, but don't you think it'll be better to sort out our differences after we've stopped murdering people halfway around the globe?

Yeah, because private security firms enacting force for the highest bidder won't be just as bad or worse than the state.

The state exists (supposedly) outside the market precisely because it would have absolutely no legitimacy if security was pay-to-play. Furthermore, if by "real libertarians" we are to assume your particular "anti-imperialism," you're still in the minority of libertarians. You can't speak for all of them and I won't allow you to pretend that your notion is a part of mainstream libertarianism. It's not.

You're just a fringe hippie. Go smoke some more pot.

Free Market Liberals are ok with private security firms, or private enforcement agencies, but against the state, when the 2 are exactly the same excpet for one thing.

One is not acountablt to anyone but the capitalist, the other is accountable to the people, and generally more democratic.

So from there we see what their real problem is, its not power, its not oppression, its democracy.

Free market liberals against the State?

Free market liberals well understand that a "free market" is impossible without a State that guarantees rights (including property rights). They are reactionary, not insane.

Those who believe the evil State is some kind of enemy of capital aren't liberals, they only represent a weird kind of ideological degeneration among the petty bourgeoisie of imperialist countries.
