Most of the kids I knew who had parents that did drugs not only didn't get upset when their kids did them, they did drugs with them.

I always found it a little strange when I was smoking weed in someone's house, and their mom would be demanding that they not bogart the joint.

And I would add, their parents never looked like the Dad in the commercial (at least my experience). They were usually burnt out hippies, bikers, that sort of thing.
