Me and my friend are looking to join a group but are having no luck. We live on Long Island and it's very difficult because all the groups on Long Island don't seem to be active anymore. We have a lot of enthusiasm but this will mean absolutely nothing if we aren't involved politically.

We tried looking into SDS but with disappointing results. Nobody responded to our inquiries at all.

We simply do not have the resources as of now to start a group ourselves.

What does Revleft suggest?

Please no trolls. We are looking for honest opinions here.

Have you tried Google?

^ There's a facebook group for NYC friends and supporters of PSL. I am in Long Island and well and I have applied to join PSL.

Good luck!

The links I provided list numerous sites and 'friends of' type lists.

You're actually going to have to go out and network- people don't just show up at your house and such...

There's an anarchist bookstore in NY- call them up and ask them.
