I believe there is a trend with horoscopes. I think it's scientific but do not know enough to explain it myself- perhaps we have not discovered it yet. There are too many coincidences but perhaps it is just that- mathematical probability algorithms that control that aspect of our world.

It strikes me as a reasonable conclusion to make, especially for someone who may not be all that knowledgeable about astronomy or physics and thus would not be able to summarily dismiss it on those grounds. Most people are not aware of the fact that the midwife has a greater gravitational pull on the baby than the planet Jupiter.

Also, I'm a Leo-Virgo cusp, therefore supposedly having characteristics of both signs, and an anarcho-syndicalist (holy shit, astrology's true, I've a hyphenate in both my star sign and my tendency!). For those of you who didn't have the misfortune of dating a Wiccan, 'cusp' refers to people born within like 48 or 72 hours of the changeover between signs. It has to do with the fact that Western astrology is based on a lunar calender so the demarcation dates vary depending on the year. Also, I hate myself for knowing all of this.

Incidentally, my Chinese zodiac sign is the horse, not that that means anything either.
