The agrarian section of Indian society will eat him alive in the end. When the majority of the working farming population has been forced into being in the chains of the capitalists, it is only a matter of time until they react to the chains being forced on them and free themselves. I can only hope this has 27 story palatial home will be converted into something better when the Maoist revolution succeeds in India. Maybe it could be converted into a massive educational facility or a cultural center. Either would be decent.

Studied Dharavi one of India's biggest slums in Mumbai earlier this year and believe me there are some sickeningly rich individuals in the city. This is a city I will add where slums are bulldozed to make way for expensive high status developments.

He has probably political ambitions or something like that.
Like Mayawati, who built statues of herself.

In a 2008 New York Times profile, friends described the tycoon as something of a contradiction: a cold-blooded businessman whose heart also "bleeds for India." He wants to help pave the way for a better life for the country's poor
If he genuinely wanted to pave a better life for the country's poor, he would have moved into a 5 bed semi, gave his workers a massive raise and put aside a fund to move people out of the slums into better housing. He wouldn't have built a 570ft bookcase that'll just topple over during a small earthquake, where him and his family of 4 can be waited on hand and foot by 600 full time wage slaves.
The amount of bull people will believe is unreal sometimes.

And then they wonder why there is a growing revolutionary feeling in India.
