It's nice to get an official statement about this. To be sure, the article is poorly written, with obvious grammar and spelling errors throughout, as well as various stylistic problems, something I would expect posted n revleft, as opposed to published on an online news magazine. But hey, it's the content that counts, right?

In terms of what the article is saying, it's a little "rah rah" (not sure what the term is called) and weak on actual substance.

In my opinion, they should have elaborated on this point:

It is time to end all federally funded partnerships such as the 287(g) program, Secure Communities and other ICE policies designed to marginalize and repress immigrant families and communities.
particularly, since he mentions 287(g) again, but doesn't really say what it is, aside from some other form of local-federal arrangement.

The article itself is not very good in my opinion, but I'm a big fan of Zach, so thumbs up. :thumbup1:
