Did anyone attend the concert? It was the largest one-day concert in North America. It was also the Rolling Stones' largest...

You should've gone; it was a good experience and the weather was great (got a nasty sunburn though)... AC/DC had the best performance in my opinion! The Tea Party was disappointing; it's too bad because I like a lot of their stuff.
I'm a little upset because I missed the Guess Who while on a mini quest to answer Nature's call. It took one hour for the 'round trip'!
Did they show the concert in it's entirety on TV?
Did you see me? :P

SASRtock was an outdoor concert held in Toronto last week (July 30th). It was a benefit concert to help the city's economy which was hit hard by SARS, not medically, but economically due to tourists' unjustified (in my opinion) fear of the contained disease. SARStock is the unofficial name for the concert (SARS+Woodstock)... Here's an article I found about it: SARStock (http://earthlink.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,12242,00.html)
About 450,000 attended, making it the largest one day concert in North America ever, and the largest for the Stones.
The event was hosted by Dan Ackroyd and Jim Belushi and there was about 12 bands (I think) - Stones, AC/DC, The Guess Who, Rush, Tea Party and many others... even Justin Timberlake showed up <_<
I would attach a pic if I knew how!

I was there and even had to run from security to get over a barracade to keep late arrivers from getting good seats. I was 30 feet from the stage when my favourite band, AC/DC came on, it friggin' rocked.

30 feet? Hey, that's cool!! I was by the first set of speakers; decent location but not that great!
Yeah, AC/DC were good!
Were you one of those that threw a bottle at Justin Timberlake? :D

Actually, I think they do like Toronto alot more. They have rehearsed for their past 5 tours in Toronto. I think it all started when the city threw them a parade and saved the band back in the 70's or something.

By the way, did you stay until the very end? How long did it take you to get out? I left a bit early (I had to wake up early the next day)
