Communist Migration:

Should we as communist brothers and sisters of the world just pick a country and move there and establish a Socialist/Communist government/society?

Would such a large amount of Communist theorists just lead to in fighting and just show that we are unable to put aside our many differences?

For example: a small democratic country that was sympathetic with the communist ideals would be an easy voting victory for the communist cause if all or even some of us moved there. We could take the elections and as long as we have the support of the local people and make sure the fleeing capitalist didn't steal the country's wealth (Russian Royalty, Cuban Capitalists). I believe that this would be our best bet at a country in the near future.

Added bonuses include....
Ask a moderator from UN and even the US to view elections to assure the public that this was legitimate when the US tries to give us trouble.

And

If we could pull off an organized and productive socialist/communist country and economy then our international support would rise and soon others in the world would surely follow.

thank you brothers and sisters

The fact that you think we can vote for socialism proves your idea wrong. All you will have is socialists in parliament.
Bourgeois elections are meaningless.

Yup, we know the US has always been happy to help socialist movements. And elections- they would never ever think of tampering with those!

Well AndresG:

I understand that you think the US would not help a socialist movement and your sarcasm is noted. But the point of inviting the US to monitor the elections is to give them no room to lie to the world. Or say that they think the elections were fixed. If they monitor the elections and the UN and even countries like Cuba, China and other countries monitor the US would be clearly lying when they say we are corrupt.

Of course we would the US would not be helping us. We would just extend a friendly invitation to watch the victory of communism through democratic elections.

What if the US said no to monitoring our elections. Can you imagine the extreme loss of credibility. If they refuse to monitor and then accuse us of corruption. This is the reasoning behind the US invite.

And for your cry against elections:

If we were to go to such a country and start a revolution in large numbers we and our movement would be called a communist invasion and would only lead to an easy attack by the US and maybe even the UN.

Thank you

I am in favor of communist migration...but not to a small and essentially defenseless country.

I think the best chances for communist revolution are in western Europe, particularly France and Germany. Those chances are still quite small, of course, right now. But I think that things will be looking brighter there over the next several decades...much brighter than anywhere else.

If you want to actually be "a part of the action", those places are probably "your best shot".

Yeah, just like the US sat back and watched the victory of Allende through elections.
