It's like choosing death by shark attack rather than death by bear attack, you know? Anyway, on the EDL, whilst I do not think they are out-and-out fascist (they're not theoretically informed enough for such a label), they're mainly football hooligans, they are also anti-working class. I have heard that they are going to demonstrate on the same day, as the nationally coordinated protests against cuts in the UK, on the 23rd, to coincide with the autumn budget announcement, and in the same location that the anti-cuts demonstrators are going to be. I think they may shoot themselves in the foot with such a move, I'm not sure. By the way, I also don't they should underestimated of course, but nor do I actually think they're of the calibre of the national front or whatever.
