He may be nationalizing capitalist companies and making them state run, but he hasn't done anything to expropriate the capitalist class!

I hope we'll see stronger links between workers' management and these nationalizations. Don't get me wrong, there is a good amount of proletarian democracy being built within certain sectors of the Venezuelan economy, but having more of these industries responsible to organs outside of the state would be a good sign of working class empowerment developing independent of the current government's control of administrative branches.

These nationalized industries should function outside the apparatus of the state.
The Venezualan government should insure these industries should break away from the viscous cycle of the market and provide in substinence. Especially in the agricultural sector. The agriculture is vital to the Venezualan prolitariat.

The nationalization of industry without workers control is state capitalism. It is compatible with private capitalism and in the long run strengthens it. This is what happened in Taiwan where state-owned enterprises were used to build private enterprise, and now the state-owned industries are slowly being privatized.
Capitalism in action. Capitalists, it seems, are less dogmatic than some Marxists. They know that nationalized industry is compatible with capitalism.
No workers control, no socialism.
