so i was wondering, since revleft is in no way a representation of IRL manifestation of organisations, and the number of users from specific organisations coincidently came to this forum, i was wondering which specific organisation manifests itself the most :p (based on the most prominent represented in this forum)

I'm not a member of any group, but I sympathize with the FAU and am thought about joining it. Meh, I find most Antifa to be really appalling fellows, else I'd prolly be part of such a group by now. In any case, I voted for IWA.

I don't there is such an organisation as the "left Communist Current". Also, the majority of British anarchists seem to be in AFed, which isn't mentioned on the poll.

Pretty sure they mean the International Communist Current, which is a Left Comm organization.

I assume you meant the 'International Communist Current' when you said "left Communist Current". I'm a sympathizer/affiliate (to my understanding it is quite hard to actually join) so I voted that.

I misread "IWA" as "IWW," so that's what I voted for.

Meh. Enough people here are part of organizations (I'm thinking PSL and ISO in the US, SWP in Britain) that pretty much require activism that this almost certainly isn't the case. I wonder about the rest, though.

Yes. And just to clarify L5I's youth group is Revolution, it didn't look like I made that grammatically clear.

It is not that difficult. All you have to do is agree to the politics really.

Devrim Jerry made it sound like a "we ask you to join, not the other way around" super selective type thing. But meh. Also, the fact that the American branch only has like 3-5 actual members gave me this impression as well.

We have talked before about the collapse of the US section. In Turkey we have exactly the opposite approach. Generally we want people to ask us, as we don't want to come across as another organisation that is trying to just recruit people. Of course there has got to be a fine balance. This month in Turkey there have been a couple of women in Ankara who are about to start the process, and a group of people in Istanbul.

I gotta say, after reading the German "How To Join The ICC" page (which is really just a translation of the English version), it sounds like a scary as hell process.

There are a lot more affiliates/sympathizers than members in the states. There could be a lot more actual members I think, don't know why there isn't honestly.
