I don't know where to put this thread at but today I have stumbled across this article about a incident about a man who was enraged and shot his wife and other 4 people over eggs....

Perhaps this could be used as a perfect example how to explain patriarchy in a nutshell? Is there also comparable sources about slave owners killing slaves or hell Capitalist CEOs or bosses killing workers due to similar slightest reasons? I think this is a symptom of what's totally wrong with the capitalist system don't you think?

I disagree, This is not a manifestation of Patriachy, this was a guy who went beserk and shot a bunch of people.

But Patriachy is a huge problem, and it is everywhere, and there are even books out that paint men as the more opressed, which is a total mockery of reality.

In capitalism, a worker is the slave of the capitalist

But the woman is a slave of that slave.

If a new group starts up, organising and mobilising the workers, it should focus on getting as many women into the leadership as possible, just look at Nepal, and how the maoists have empowered women.

Alot of communist movements fail to atract women and minorities, sometimes due to the fact, white male chauvanism is ever present, just like it was with Castro, Che, Stalin, Mao and most other historical leninist figures.

Hopefully the social boundaries we construct to imaginatively divide ourself can be removed forever.

If not, alot of women will be lost to true socialist/femenist movements, and join these class collaborationist femenist groups

Conceivably, it could be patriarchy - specifically, the concept of him owning and therefore disposing of his wife. Though AnarchoMassLine.. is right, there's no evidence of that for sure.

There were women revolutionaries in the Cuban revolution and with Che in Bolivia, also there were black guys fighting as well. And if you were to go to any Communist/Socialist meeting or rally here in the UK you would find plenty of women and minorities. So to say Communist movements are uninviting to them is wrong.
