German Communist Party Hands Out Porn Pens To Kids

BERLIN (Reuters Life!) - To sweeten their first day at primary school German children are normally given a cardboard cone filled with sweets, but schoolchildren in Essen this year opened their cones to find pens which project erotic images.


Children attending the Adolf Reichwein School in the northwestern German city were handed cones containing the pens by members of the German Communist Party, according to the school's headmaster.
Angry parents who discovered that the pens given to their six-year-old children could project erotic images of women informed the headmaster.
In a press release the German Communist Party stated that it had purchased the pens from a discount store, which had said the pens lit up at the push of a button.


"The German Communist Party deeply regrets what has happened and is outraged that this kind of thing, which borders on pornography, can be purchased in normal shops," it said, adding that its lawyers were now investigating whether the vendors could be prosecuted.


The party has offered to exchange the pens for something more suitable for children.

This doesn't constitute "sexual liberation." Moreover, what the hell does that even mean in the context of the life of a five or six year old? Surely they shouldn't be lied to and there shouldn't be as much immaturity in society surrounding sex, but we shouldn't be sexualizing the lives of children who don't even have a biological urge for sex yet.

If this was intentional on the part of those handing them out and not a mistake, this is a pathetic act.

Obviously they didn't pay much attention to those pens, and the campaign in general. People can be very, very sloppy at times. It's understandable, but it would be best if blunders such as this one are avoided.

(let us talk about fucking/sex) as an open campaign to break through the extremely conservative german aditude towards sex, and sexual repression (which is a bit comparable to the japanese sexual taboo's , hence the amount of produced porn), and have an open debate about sexuality, sexual education, gender, LTGB phobia, feminism, genderroles, self-concienceness, and the dangers of sexual repression. This was probably at some event where schoolchildren happend to pass, and got one of those pens for free by accident.... this does not turn the whole organisation into a bunch of pedophiles. This is especially distrubing after the whole "TAT is a pedo" rampage last month.
