I never had a teacher take our supplies and toss them into a communal bin. I've had other students beg me for pens and paper though, and I give it to them even though I don't see how the hell someone comes to school without pen and paper. My teachers did ask us to bring in kleenex and whatnot for class use, because they would have to buy it with their own money, and hey, why should they spend their meager stipend on everyday materials for a whole class to use? At our rate, they'd run out of money to buy kleenex.
I also never heard of schools "tossing out condoms" or "authorizing abortions." We didn't even have condoms available in our school, and heaven help you if you got knocked up, because your two termination choices were a back-alley abortion or a parent-authorized one. No school involved.
And what's wrong with higher-IQ students helping the lower-IQ ones? I was good in school so I helped my classmates and they were able to succeed. That's because some kids NEED peer tutoring to understand some things.
I'm not even going to talk about the other articles because I'm too busy laughing. Scare tactics and propaganda are hilarious, but let's not forget the poor souls who are dumb enough to fall for anything.
