Reading through the comments on the 'Epic Beard Guy' video was a truly grim experience simply because there was so much casual racism. The man who was beaten up (who happened to be black) was an innocent victim, yet so many people reimagined the story or ignored evidence to the contrary in order to castigate him as an evil villain who disrespects veterans, a criminal who got everything he deserved, and / or a "reverse racist".

"WHY DO BLACKS THINK THEY CAN SAY ANYTHING AND THEN GET ANNOYED WHEN WHITE PEOPLE...", etc.

Because he was white. And because the commentator is a pathetic excuse of a human being.

I don't read Youtube comments, for the same reason I don't go to 4chan.

If you ever want to kill the entire human race, just go to police brutality vids and read the comments.

The black dude swings first, and is agressive the whole time. The whole situation to me, seemed to have stemmed from a misunderstanding ("did you tell me to shine your shoes" "no" "why does a brother have to shine your shoes?" "it doesn't have to be a brother"), but cooler heads did not prevail.

All of them really follow the same pattern...

"i'd rather live in nazi germany than in fascisto-communist ussr"
"hitler: 6 million, Stalin: 200 million. who do you pick?" etc

I mostly find the Greek-vs-Macedonian conflict on all kinds of random non-political music videos irritating.

Something like this:

"Mao killed 80 million of his own people how could you even think of defending a cold blooded evil person like that? God judges all of us and not just our actions but thoughts too so be careful or you'll end up like Mao did. Pray to Jesus to guide you."

But yeah, I misremembered the actual chain of events. Still, a lot of the comments were fucking awful.

Here's a fun little experiment. Go to any video from the Balkans or Albania, and witness the sheer terror of the comments section. Racism that's been around since the dawn of time, that weird Greece-Macedonia debate, hero worship of Ratko Mladic, etc. It's a truly terrifying experience.
