Music Genres

I was thinking of using the poll thingy available in the new invisionboard to see the most popular music genres among us commies. i want to have as many choices as possible, so i'm asking for as many music genres as you all can come up with.

it'll be a bit complicated, though, because most of us probably like more than one type of music, oh well...i'll see, it was just a thought anyway, maybe i won't do the poll, or maybe i will.

I'll probably do it, so start sending in the suggestions, folks. :)

Folk, bluegrass, ritual drumming, instrumental, acoustic, solo vocal.
Bhangra, punjabi, Malian, Hawaian, Jungle, garage......etc..etc..

I believe although am not completly sure that pole can only have ten veriants so you might as well just have varied wide definitions for example metal to cover all metal (death-metal, speed metal, nu-metal etc.).

It won't be too accurate but it's better than having huge lists that include genres most have never heard off.

EDIT: Some hip-hop. None of the mainstream or "cash-money" shit though.
