Why was I banned?

On a technicality I have been un-banned.
Why was I first banned?
Could someone please logically explain this to me ( minus the "this is a private forum, we can ban anyone we want..." drivel.)

You've obviously been banned with legitimate reasons prior to now, and I'm hoping that it will happen again, soon.
