If famous communists from history were on RevLeft what they be like? What might they pick as user names, avatars, signatures?

I'm thinking of Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, maybe Hoxha and Mao.

My guess Marx would be a user. He would use RevLeft as a time waster, procrastinating writing Capital. He would spend most of his time trolling and flaming Wilhelm Weitling, Prodhoun, and Bakunin.. He'd get numerous infractions.Eventually he'd be banned for racism and homophobia (this does not invalidate his method), then he'd get back to writing and finish the other 2 volumes he had planned.

Lenin would not be on RevLeft. He was a workaholic.He may put in a brief appearance. He'd come off as an insufferable dickhead.

Trotsky would be on RevLeft. He would keep us updated on the Petrograd Soviet of 1905 in the Ongoing Struggles section.In 1929 he'd post a thread in chit chat "I'm moving to Alma Ata. I won't have Internet access for a while.I'll be thinking of all of you". In 1938 he'll be asking for advice on a love triangle he got himself into."I met this beautiful Mexican artist. She's really awesome and we click, but I'm not sure what to do..."

Any thoughts?

I don't hate everyone here, I just noticed there are alot more anarchists and technocrats then there are Communists and Marxist-Leninists, esp. in the Marx-Engels-Lenin-Stalin tradition.

As others have noted, Marx would probably make a lot of drunk posts. Engels would be spend a lot of time in Learning, contemplating whether it's possible to be rich and a socialist.

I'd imagine Lenin as the extremely active all-round poster, with long diatribes in just about every forum of interest. Stalin and Trotsky would obviously be internet rivals, with Stalin ending up in an admin position by virtue of being one of the most hard-working and least offensive members (despite his habit of scribbling on pornographic pictures). Trotsky would basically be the replacement Sankara, sticking it to the evil admins. He would also show his face in Ongoing Struggles a lot, constantly posting new terrible betrayals committed in Nepal, Cuba, etc.

Mao would be one of those kooky posters who make all kinds of incomprehensible philosophical posts, sayings, and strange theories, leaving people wondering whether he's some kind of troll. He'd probably develop a small but fanatic following, though. Enver Hoxha, well, obviously, he'd be like Intelligitimate, eventually getting banned for calling everyone else "anti-working-class cock-suckers" or something like that.

I see Marx as being a crotchety old man spending most of his time in the Economics forum and the German language subforum. Engels would be much more gregarious and hang in the Philosophy, Science & Environment, and Politics forum as well as being basically a star in Chit Chat, although you would not want to get on his bad side.

Lenin would post serious business to Politics, Ongoing Struggles and so on, pausing mostly to polemicize with other posters. Trotsky would spend more time on Science & Environment, Literature & Films and such, although he wouldn't be so popular. Stalin would be outgoing and likable, posting a lot in Chit Chat except for his noteworthy contributions under Discrimination, until he made it onto the Admin team. Then he'd maneuver his way to the top and ban all dissidents, sending out a team to hack the fleeing Trotskyist board.

Marx would get banned for racism, Engels would get infractions as well.
