0. I've never used it. Never found a reason to use it really.

Yeah, I've never subscribed to threads on any forum I've been on. I usually click on my name and see if I got responses.A bit egocentric, but, well...

If you subscribe to more than 0 threads you fail at life.

None. I subscribed to the world cup thread back during the world cup, but otherwise no.

I auto-subscribe, but I delete them when they go stale or I lose interest.

Um, why? If you're not just a drive-by poster who never revisits threads to continue conversations then subscriptions are the most convenient way to find out if someone has responded to a thread you've posted in, and, therefore, possibly to you. "Today's Posts" is a shitty alternative, and the only other one is to visit your profile, click the link to see all your posts, and revisit each and every thread -- most of them needlessly because they haven't been responded to.

That concludes your Forums 101 lesson for today.

I'm always holdin' out for that random necro, so I never delete them.

EDIT: Ironically, I forgot to subscribe to this thread, which is why I took so long to respond to all these wonderful comments.

CP > options > Default Thread Subscription Mode > no email notification

Now when you post in a thread you're auto-subbed. No need to manually sub.

Quick links > subscribed threads -- or just click CP -- and you'll see if there have been responses.

It's one of the most useful features.

Except that I actually prefer email notifications, since there are sometimes extended periods of time where I will not log on to revleft at all, but still check my email.

I subbed to one in chit-chat a long time ago, but it has since been locked.

I never subscribe to threads due to the inescapable nature of Rule #25 of the Internet (the second most reliable rule): Relation to the original topic decreases with every post, ESPECIALLY on Revleft where you can't say anything without someone of some tendency disagreeing with you using some dialectics you've never heard of from some theorist you didn't know existed.
