I watched this at a fiends last night mainly because I saw some Tea Party 'activist' trying to boycott it when it was in the theater because it was, in her opinion, 'communist' (LOL). They did somewhat position Robin Hood as a revolutionary of sorts, the son of a member of a 'secret society' akin the the masons or Nights Templar (it's funny when you read Bakunins obsessions with secret societies role in the bourgeoisie revolution over feudalism). Anyhow, I don't think they even focused, at all, on stealing from the rich and giving to the poor it was more so about 'liberty' and in that sense fits right in with the American mind frame. I give it a two thumbs down for being just another film in lock step with the American myth of liberty.
