I just joined this site the other day and now I think I have a rather unhealthy obsession with coming on here ;) Is it "normal" to have like 120 posts in one week?

you should probably see a doctor, or at least our resident doctor about this.
he may be able to prescribe you with some tasks other than visiting this dreadfully grey website.

I went through something similar. I didn't post that much, but I did a lot of lurking. You should only be seriously concerned if it gets in the way of school, work or relationships, whatever "if it gets in the way" means.

I generally become very active a few weeks and then go inactive, with the exception of chit-chat, for a few weeks. Politics are kinda depressing so I need a break, haha. I'm taking a break right now from studying theory.

Same. I always go facebook, revleft, and a couple other I won't mention for identity reasons.

It always seems uphill (daily struggle). It's good to coast every now and then in apathy mode, thats usually when I turn into a happy/benign misanthrope (only for a short time of course, to "recharge").
When I was younger I became addicted to a computer game called 0-Game. This thing devoured my life, as in, I was online every free second I could muster.

That game (this is embarrassing) almost, well, was like heroin. If my RevLeft posting gets anywhere near that I'll smash my computer. I guess I go through periods of social inactivity and always find something online to fill the void. There's only so much binge drinking a person can do when they're 30.

Lol, don't worry about it too much. Try and mix things up. While I do spend a lot of free time online I make sure to do lots and lots of different things online.
