Although as many as 3 million workers will be on the street demonstrating tomorrow, i can completely understand that the financial position of the ISO is of more interest. however there is an interesting interview with one of the leaders of SUD the most left wing union in the intersyndical
(im really sorry i don't know how she is paid or how much but i'm sure someone will sort that out for us)

I don't get the sneery remarks regarding the topic on the ISO. This is a discussion board. A lot of stuff gets discussed.

It's funny to see how this is playing out in the media. They don't focus so much on the REASON why people are taking to the streets so much as how many of them were on the streets. Government and organizer figures are differing and that's what they are focusing on unfortunately.
I hope the workers of France will be able to overcome the obstacles and media manipulation by Sarko and the gang.

wildcat strikes are taking place in school canteens, tax offices even supermarkets in Marseille
Corsica ran out of diesel at the weekend
Bus and metro staff were the first to go for (official) all out indefinite action that will start on the 12th the next (official) strike day.
Three unions in the railways have called for indefinite action starting the 12th,
including the CFTC (christian union)
This virtually forces the CGT and SUD to do the same
heard the head of the CGT total (refineries) on the radio saying the mood in the refineries was to shut them down, Lorry drivers are debating if and when to join in.
all we are missing really is the students
